The dnb step culture generally names it's dance moves tricks. Currently there's no real definition of what a trick is or isn't. However we can observe some properties which may help us to separate one from another.
These are the group of tricks that require 2 beats to execute. These are the most commonly used tricks as they bond the style together, as they can be performed in a combination or even fused together to form in effect completely new tricks.

Quick fire tricks take generally 4-6 beats to execute and have sligthly faster movements

Full 360 spins require generally 4 beats. With larger momentum can be faster.
